Tree Removal / Landscaping

Past few days very busy  My front yard was sick.  The tree was taking all the water, grass dying, and flowers not growing in flower bed due to the tree.  Plus the tree roots have always put out little starter shoots (called suckers) all over the yard which were constantly having to be mowed.  Therefore:

Friday removed the 10 ft diameter stone flower bed around the live oak tree in front yard.

Saturday after chipping and removing all the old mortar from the stones, made a couple of smaller flower beds near house.  Reused stone for 3 new flower beds

Sunday was a day of rest and sunburn healing
Monday, cut down the live oak tree (except bottom of tree trunk) and stacked all the debris and scheduled pickup.

Tuesday.  Debris picked up and chipped.  There was a chord of bigger pieces left for second crew.  Made a deal giving second crew the wood if they would grind the stump.
Wednesday  prepared the ground for new grass.

Finished
