My transcription of Liszt's : Der Muller und Der Bach S565

Made a transcription to simplify Liszt's Transcription of Der Muller und Der Bach, S.565, which is a song from Schubert's Mullerlieder transcribed by Liszt for solo piano.  Liszt's version was just a little too difficult for me so I made a further transcription.   I developed the score using MuseScore which is a great free composition tool for writing music for all instruments.   There is also attached 2 MP3 recordings of MY transcription,  One for Strings and one for Piano - both computer generated - so all the dynamics are not quite right as written on the score (MuseScore can't understand all the text added to score), but they were good enough to include.   Enjoy.

Wood Puzzle

Made this wood puzzle as this week.   Pictures are before and after applying finish, disassembled, reassembly.    To put size in perspective the ends of each piece are 1 5/16 inches square

6 String Banjo

Finished my first banjo (after having made so many other stringed instruments.
Photos:  Front, back, resonator, body, inside body, fingerboard closeup.    Body is maple, resonator is flamed maple, neck is maple with mahogany stringers, fingerboard and peghead veneer are birds eye maple.  Inlay of desert scene with 2 cactus uses white MOP,gold MOP, black MOP, abalone, and marble wood.
