Last Instrument for October

Finished this Danelectro DC-59 model. Black walnut top and back (original was fiber board), sides are maple (vs original fiber board covered with colored tape). Used Danelectro parts (lipstick pickups, control pots, knobs, tuners, bridge, etc.). Plays great. (Click on picture to enlarge)

Instrument Update Oct 16 #3 - last one for today

And last update for today, a "spalted maple" strat with witch inlay (mahogony back, rosewood fingerboard). Art by tuners done with wood burner. - Play's great, very fast action.

Instrument Update - Oct 16 #1

Its been a while and I've added a few to my collection...

1st a friend pointed out that I had never posted photos of his favorite - the "fairy strat", so even though I made it a couple of years ago, here it is.

2nd I put a lute cover over the sound hole on my recent "wicked witch" acoustic, and I thought it looked cool, so here it is.

I'll now go on to add picture of some of the more recent additions..... (click any picture to enlarge)
