Butterfly Ukulele

Finished this ukulele which I call my Butterfly Uke because of the butterfly inly at the sound hole. Back and sides are movingui with walnut stain, mahogony neck, fingerboard is texas black & white ebony, spruce top. Inlay is black ebony with pearl and hardwoods. S/N 0038.

"Feather Acoustic"

Finished this acoustic guitar tonight. Some interesting and different features of this one:

The back and sides are "Black Limba" (Korina), Spruce top has 3 inlays, all of various hardwooods. Black mother of pearl used on rosette, strap button, and 12th fret inlay. My name is inlayed in the headstock with padauk. The bindings are all padauk wood bindings. The neck is mahogony. The bridge is pinless (strings attach through rear). Fingerboard, bridge and headpiece are ebony. Click photos to enlarge.
