Finished another project - last for the year. S/N 0088. This one is a birdseye maple top and fingerboard, flamed maple neck, and ash back. First time to use birdseye maple, and the photos don't really due justice to how the dots (figuring) stand out. I wanted to try something different with the electronics. I've embedded three effects boxes within the body of instrument vs. having them be separate effects boxes to plug into. There is a volume, tone, and pickup selector. (So far fairly standard wiring), Bottom large knob is effect selector. Then there is a control for each effect, plus an LED to indicate the effect is selected. No LED - effects off. Green LED - Distortion. Blue LED - Treble/Bass boost. Red LED - Repeat. I did the wiring outside the guitar, before installing - reason obvious LOL.
Used to share with friends and family what I've been up to. I don't accept comments thru blogger, but welcome comments from friends and family. Most friends and family have my email address already, but if not and you want the address, just ask and I'll give it to you - it isn't published here (and won't be). CLICK ANY PHOTO TO ENLARGE
