Irish Bouzouki
Latest creation is another Irish Bouzouki. This one is maple back, sides, top and neck with blood wood fingerboard, bridge, and bindings. Because a lot of straps for acoustic stringed instruments use a tie at one end of the strap, I've added a tie hole on the upper body (vs some that tie at the headstock). Tuned GDAD. The flame in the maple was just too pronounced to hide with any stains, so I left it naturnal. Since I used maple on the top vs a spruce, I made it very thin so that it would resonate (.060 thick).
